The Pasadena Museum of History featured the Gertmenian family in the exhibition "Family Stories; Sharing a Community's Legacy," which ran from May 2009 through January 2010. The retrospective looked at local history through the lives of six families from six different heritages.
The Gertmenians themselves gathered at the museum, on 29 August 2009, for a family dinner and spirited backgammon tournement.
